Ohio Senator Rob Portman continues to push the '
Chrysler is selling Jeep to China' narrative. There is not a scrap of evidence to support such a tale. Indeed, Ralph Gilles, vice president of design for the division of Chrysler which is responsible for Jeep, called out
@realDonaldTrump on twitter immediately after the he made such a claim.
Trump's continued efforts to push the narrative have been
refuted by the CEO of Chrysler as well.
It seems to me that Gilles and Marchionne (CEO) would know better than Trump (and the DC Examiner, cited by Trump. Nevertheless, Portman continues to take his cue from Trump.
