CNN calls shotgun... 5 minutes after AP.
CNN has still not learned the simplest (but one of the most important) lessons of the 24/7 news cycle--calling dibs is stupid and irrelevant. One would think they'd have learned after they mis-reported the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare back in June. In this case they did not mis-report the story, but they called 'shotgun' several minutes too late. Notice the time in the upper-right corner of the tweet. This tweet followed (in my feed) these:
